A shocking bit of news from the Xoops camp, it seems that Catzwolf has thrown in the towel and no longer wants anything to do with Xoops or the Xoops community :-( . As yet the details of this shock decision by Catzwolf are unknown, or even to be verified. However, this has left several major works in progress on hold, and without any kind of definate future.

So now we're left with a 3rd beta of the new Wf-Section module which I had great hopes for :-( .Hopefully one of the core dev's or other good module developers will pick his projects up.

I would really like to know what happened as it seems like this was a pretty knee jerk reaction. There seems to have only been a few hours between his last post on the Xoops forums which indicated nothing bad, and his site been shutdown with the message he wanted nothing more to do with Xoops. I'd doubt Catz would just throw in the towel like that without something happening. Especially considering the amount of work he has been putting into developing WF-Section and the MyDownloads module over the past two years. The new WF-Section is something like 80% new code! You don't walk away from that kind of investment in time without a reason. I just hope this is all just some kind of cruel joke.
