IIS Aid

Reading Microsoft's site today as I often do, and noticed they had posted a news item regarding the new Technical Preview 1 of Web Deploy. This new tool is designed to greatly aid you as the IIS administrator with the task of analysis, migration and syncronisation of your IIS environments for IIS 6 and IIS 7. If you are a bit of an IIS veteran, then you'll know how cumbersome site and server migrations and syncronisations have been in the past, so the development of this tool should come as a very, very, very welcome addition to your IIS toolkit. Being in Technical Preview stage it is still only early days but very well worth the look, so go get you x86 version here and your x64 version here.
