New PHP 5 based IIS Aid PHP Installer

It's been quite sometime since any updates have been made to the IIS Aid PHP Installer, so it is quite overdue that I announce the release of the first beta versions of the all new IIS Aid PHP Installer using PHP 5. You may notice I said versions. This is because the IIS Aid PHP Installer is now offered in both 32-bit and 64-bit, and is the only free PHP Installer program built specifically for IIS to do so.

A 64-bit offering is just one of the new features in this ground up rebuild. The new version of IIS Aid PHP Installer also now supports all versions of IIS from 5, 5.1, 6 and the new IIS 7. There is also a new configuration screen when installing PHP which lets you select which websites PHP should be installed on, as well as the existing APC config screen. Finally, the new installer allows you to select between installing PHP using the traditional ISAPI extension from PHP, or using the new Microsoft FastCGI extension. Please feel free to download and test the new IIS Aid PHP Installer, however I do stress it is still in very early beta stage and is not suitable for production environments. If you have any bug reports, suggestions or any other feedback please feel free to post in the forums.
