PHP 5.2.6 Released

The PHP group have just released PHP 5.2.6 containing over 120 bug fixes, with several of them being security related. This is the first production release of PHP since PHP 5.2.5 was released back in early November last year, so it is good to see things are moving along.

The install process for Installing PHP 5.2.6 in ISAPI mode has not changed from what I've detailed in my installing PHP 5 on IIS in 5 simple steps guide. If you are still having any trouble after this, post the details in a new thread in the forums and I'll be happy to help.

Why does windows installer for php 5.2.6 install fcgiext when I choose ISAPI option?
Is that an error?
And furthermore, whats the best installation to run php on IIS6, to be fast and reliable?
