Sorry for the inconvenience sibusisom. I have logged a service call with my ISP to try and find out where the bottleneck is taking place. I have a 512k/512k SDSL connection to my ISP who is directly connected to the main Australian backbone, so I'm a little suprised to hear you are having such troubles. Is it only this site you are experiencing trouble with?

The only other thing I can think of that may have such a perfomance impact is this is the first site I've hosted that contains dynamic content through the use of PHP and MySQL. Upto date I've only every used static HTML files which to my knowledge never had loading time issues.

Sibusisom, the link below is to my old site which uses predominately static HTML files. Can you try accessing it and let me know if loading times are dramaitcally increased? If the site below is still slow to load it'll mean the problem is most likely due to network which I'll only have limited control over fixing. If the site below is a lot quicker to load, it'll indicate that my server hardware is not upto the task and I'll have to look at upgrading my server hardware.

i've been to your old site before and never had any time delays except for where you specified that the page will take time to load due to graphical contents but this one its slow.

Thanx for your response.

Thankyou so much for the feedback sibusisom! This is good news as upgrading my server should remove most of the delays you have been experiencing. :-D

All I have to do now is find some money to do the upgrade with :-( , but this should present no large hurdle though. What may present a problem is time, as with a Motherboard and CPU upgrade I'll have to install my Operating System from scratch.

Either way it looks like it has to be done, so I'll try and have this all done before christmas. Thanks again :-)
