Certificate Error

Hi,

I am using selfssl command from the IIS resource kit (selfssl.exe /N:CN= /K:1024 /V:999 /S:1 /P:443 /T) to generate certificate.

While doing this I am getting the following error:

Failed to acquire the cryptographic context: 0x8009000f

Actions Taken:

1. Tried by giving full rights to MachineKeys folder which is at ‘C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\microsoft\Crypto\rsa’ path
2. Tried by re installing certificate services and IIS

Help needed in resolving this issue ( I am using IIS 6)

Any reason you are using SelfSSL instead of SSLDiag? SelfSSL is old, known to be buggy and no longer supported. The syntax for SSLDiag is almost identical, so I'd be using that unless you have some specific reason not to.
