I have installed php on my windows vista 64bit machine, and when I try to access a simple page, I get a 500 error with the following message.
There is a problem with the resource you are looking for, and it cannot be displayed.
I have gone through all the steps on how to overcome this, so far no luck, so any help on this would be appreciated. Thanks.
First thing I'd do is disabled HTTP friendly errors in your Internet Explorer options. This should result in getting an error description that is a little more useful.
Also, by default 64-bit IIS is not configured to allow you to run 32-bit code. Have a look at this article on enabling PHP on 64 bit Windows for more information.
