Can't get MySQL to work with PHP pages under IIS

Categories:

Hi, recently, I have had a disk crash on me and had to rebuild my system on a new disk. I used the IIS-AID installer and hoped to get stuck back into dreamweaver with existing websites, however, now I get this error message from Dreamweaver when I am trying to check connections to the MySQL databases:

Your PHP server doesn't have the MySQL module loaded or you can't use the mysql_(p)connect functions

Can anybody advise please as I am now struggling.

Thanks.

Open your php.ini file and dinf;

;extension=php_mysql.dll

and take the ; away from the front. Save and then recycle your IIS application pool.
