(Windows 2000 Pro,SP4). Initially I had UserA who is a member of an Accounting group with full control on a shared Accounting Directory sitting on a 2000 Server(SP4) DC.The company employed UserB to help with accounts. Heres a scenario: I created user object B made him a member of Accounting group. UserA and B share the same machine with their own username and passwords so whoever comes in first will log on and the machine will be used the whole day until knock off time when they have to do a backup to the server. They log on to a company Domain controlled by an accounting GPO. They both belong to Accounting OU only and not other OU so they are not inheriting any GPO settings
Problem: The accounting package comes with its own backup utility that employs WinZip technology, now when userA make backups the system will notify her that the backup has been completed successfully. When I log on with either my username or administrators username and do a backup, the system will report that backup has been completed successfully, but when userB log on and do a backup the system will go through the backup process but when it finishes it will not generate a report and the backup file sitting on the server does not change in size it doesnt do anything.
Where could the problem be?
