if you think pinging 131.200.2.1 is easy gear yourselves for pinging more than 131.200.2.1(that was easy), in future we will be pinging fcfeefe-ddffce-Odefff- i forgot the rest of the IP address(sorry about that!!)
What i'm trying to say is that, has anyone tested IPv6?
If you need more info checkout www.6bone.net.I think one should start now so that i don't forget the IP address. To all IT guys good for the future.
There are some significant advantages that come with IPv6, some of which are outlined in this document. However, as always money talks, and until there is a real business need to drive the implentation of the IPv6 network such as the exhaustion of the IPv4 address space, I think things will predominantly stay using IPv4.
