I recently got hold of Suse Linux 7.1 Pro cd's but the problem is that i've never worked on Linux before.Is there any website that you know of that caters for dummies like me.
I really need to get this off the ground and explore the world of *unix.

Installtion and use of Linux is nothing to fear. Most distributions (Suse Included) have a very slick install interface, with a wide range of supported hardware. Do a google and you'll find plenty of guides, I found this one after only a few minutes.
